Thoughts on manifestation

Have you ever read “The Secret” ? A book that is all about manifestation. Is there a secret to life that only a few of us have the chance to learn about? All my life, I’ve been searching for answers, but did I ask the right questions?

For those who don’t know, manifestation is a process of bringing a blueprint of your reality into reality. In simpler words, making your dreams come true.

I have no doubt that life is a mystery, an adventure, and we are the captains exploring new seas. However, not all of us feel the same way. For many of us, life is full of problems, mine was too. As I grew older, though, I’ve learned to see problems as challenges and opportunities to grow.

I used to be a pessimistic person, a victim of my circumstances who couldn’t see the light at the end of the tunnel. But somehow, I was always drawn to the light even in my darkest moments. In life, having a positive attitude can take you far. But how can we think positively in times of illness, death, and loss. We can’t! Doing so is against the laws of nature. Sadness is a feeling that can not be repressed.

That being said, I’m also not a positive thinker. Don’t get me wrong, I believe in the bright side of life, but on the other hand, positive thoughts alone cannot solve our problems, neither can make our dreams come true.

From my current research on the topic, I’ve come to a conclusion. To overcome life challenges or achieve a goal/dream, it starts with positive thoughts and the belief that is possible. Then you need to take some sort of action, not just sitting and thinking positively. You might need to seek people who can help you and, in times of disappointment, encourage you. Therefore, the “universe” will move into your direction once you do.
